Dear Open Source developer I am doing a research project on "Fun and Software Development" in which I kindly invite you to participate. You will find the online survey under http://fasd.ethz.ch/qsf/. The questionnaire consists of 53 questions and you will need about 15 minutes to complete it. With the FASD project (Fun and Software Development) we want to define the motivational significance of fun when software developers decide to engage in Open Source projects. What is special about our research project is that a similar survey is planned with software developers in commercial firms. This procedure allows the immediate comparison between the involved individuals and the conditions of production of these two development models. Thus we hope to obtain substantial new insights to the phenomenon of Open Source Development. With many thanks for your participation, Benno Luthiger PS: The results of the survey will be published under http://www.isu.unizh.ch/fuehrung/blprojects/FASD/. We have set up the mailing list fa...@we... for this study. Please see http://fasd.ethz.ch/qsf/mailinglist_en.html for registration to this mailing list. _______________________________________________________________________ Benno Luthiger Swiss Federal Institute of Technology Zurich 8092 Zurich Mail: benno.luthiger(at)id.ethz.ch _______________________________________________________________________ |

Now works great... I should guess that myself ;)
Anyway thanks. I'll add moaggeditrc to package.

Well it would be helpful if it will work.
I made this way:
(fenio@domek)~$cat /etc/qt3/moaggeditrc=20
[paths]
maps=3D/usr/share/games/moagg/levels/
tiles=3D/usr/share/games/moagg/gfx/tiles/
(fenio@domek)~$ls /usr/share/games/moagg/levels
frozen mission1 missions.idx snakepit test tutorials
(fenio@domek)~$ls /usr/share/games/moagg/gfx/tiles=20
background brick clay dirt sand
blue categories.idx concrete hexagonal winter
(fenio@domek)~$
Then I started moaggedit, and on main screen it still shows paths:
Maps : /home/fenio
Tiles: /home/fenio
Seems that it ignores those preferences file. I checked=20
`strace moaggedit` and seems that this file is being read.
Don't know what to do now.
Any further advices?
regards

=2D----BEGIN PGP SIGNED MESSAGE----- Hash: SHA1 I just released moagg-0.9 and uploaded the bz2 files to SourceForge. Some highlights of this release are: * Fix some cosmetical bugs in the mission/level selection menu. * When a game is finished or aborted, move from the highscore back to the=20 level selection menu instead of the main menu. * Added mortars, that can shoot grenades, which then may explode to=20 projectiles. Added a tutorial level to demonstrate the mortars. * Don't quit on startup, if the sound system cannot be initalized. Continue= =20 the startup as if the commandline option '-s' was given. * Implemented bonus and fuel crates, increasing the score / refilling the=20 fuel when picked up. Added a tutorial level to demostrate these crates. ciao. =2D --=20 Round Numbers are always false. -- Samuel Johnson =2D----BEGIN PGP SIGNATURE----- Version: GnuPG v1.2.4 (GNU/Linux) iD8DBQFArap9RJyN/aMtTWwRAoNDAKCwTxo1Ls8+JeeSuDGd5RL8O2ZkdQCfUvLa JGhandGfx94GNr81jxcoz20=3D =3Dj52s =2D----END PGP SIGNATURE----- |

Forget what I've said before. I didn't notice that you have splitted it
upstream. I mean I noticed this, but I downloaded you game some time
ago, and I unpacked it to some directory... then the problem with
libparagui1.0 shown up so I start messing with it.
When I resolved this problem, I forgot how did you package this game.
Well nevermind... I'm little sleppy now. Just wanna tell you that there
will be -src and -data in Debian too ;)

Hello dear Moagg developers.
What do you think about including Moagg in the Debian's archives?
I could prepare packages. First of all I have to update libparagui
library in Debian, cause it is now orphaned and outdated.
But then there should be no problem with packaging and including Moagg
in Debian... all I want to know is what do you think about it ;)
