This is a program for making forms-based (persistent document)
websites.

What is Method Support?

Method Support is a system for quickly producing process support web
sites. It simplifies the process by requiring the administrator to
just provide a "schema" file describing the forms and the workflow
that define the process. The administrator can then generate the
entiry running a single command line.

Method Support is a program for supporting procedures by defining
on-line forms. In other words, it provides the equivalent of a set of
paper forms.

This can be used to support defined procedures or processes, such as
required for methods/methodologies/processes such as SDLCs, the CMMI
or for SOX.

The emphasis of this approach is to make it easy to set up a set of
forms and to modify the forms over time. This focus distinguishes this
program from alternative similar systems.

Please see the documentation in the html directory, beginning with
html/About.html.

There is also Doxygen documentation of the program internals in the
html/api directory.

The documentation is also visible at
http://methodsupport.com/program/About.html and linked pages.

For license information see gpl-3.0.txt. The program has been released
under the GPLv3 license (http://www.gnu.org/licenses/gpl-3.0.html) and
is available from a Sourceforge page
(http://sourceforge.net/projects/methodsupport).

There is information about the underlying rationale for the program on
the site starting at the home page http://methodsupport.com.

Method Support needs your feedback

The Method Support program is now in alpha test, which means that I
need your feedback on the program —
• how to improve it,
• where the defects are,
• which bits of the documentation need to be fixed,
• how far you got and where you got stuck,
• which features you would like,
• which real-world situations you could use it in,
• any changes (patches) you would like to the code,
• and any other questions or comments.

Please raise a support request on the Sourceforge page (this also has
mailing lists, a wiki etc) or just send email to martin@methodsupport.com.
