> Great improvements Wybo and Catherine! Great comunication and simplicity. :-) I've done some further improvements in response to the first usability study. The attach to phrase button is now at the bottom of logis and the active tabs are now accentuated with a blue line, so people don't miss them. Also pressing enter at the account-creation form now submits it. (also the presentations went well, good feedback) > I'll be without time for at least a month, hope it will be less. I will also be very busy over the coming weeks, as I have two big exams coming up. Then as of May I will be working on my thesis on getting a critical mass of users for LL, and this allows time for improving the site as well. Also @ Bhupendra Mishra; welcome!, you seem to be new to this group? Are you working with Rails/sites as well, or interested in LL from a philosophical background? greetings, Wybo > It's so nice to hear improvements on LL! > > greetings! > > On Thu, Mar 11, 2010 at 1:50 PM, Wybo Wiersma <ma...@wy...> wrote: > > I am about to give my presentation at the London Seminar in Digital > > Text and Scholarship: > > http://www.sas.ac.uk/events/visitor_events.php?page=ies_seminars&func=results&aoi_id=200 > > > > I've also done some small UI-improvements over the last few weeks, in > > response to the comments on it by my girlfriend Catherine, who did a > > MA in computer usability :-) > > > > The most notable improvements are: > > at: http://en.logilogi.org > > - at the bottom of logis there is now a simple looking comment box > > that opens the complete one. > > - when inserting things (now called attaching), the thing to be > > inserted is created first, and only then the selection is made. > > Also there is a 'save and attach more' button at the bottom. > > - peergroups are temporarily disabled, so all users vote in the same, > > General peergroup (this to make the attainment of critical mass > > easier). > > > > I am also all for in-line editing, and creating (in-line inserting > > likely is too complicated for now).
