Fedora 26 unfortunately still ships libmtp 1.1.11 but as
https://sourceforge.net/p/libmtp/bugs/1613/ is about 05c6:0a07 and in my case it is 2931:0a07, I'd assume that even running 1.1.13 or newer would not fix this:

the id is listed in 1.1.12 and 1.1.13 ... should work if you add the id to the hwdb files or udev rules depending what fedora uses.
