Mainly this project aims at easing startup and use of XCSoar (see xcsoar.org) on Kobo Mini. But the scope of use should not be limited solely to XCSoar.
The Launcher should be small in code size, reuse most of the original libraries, provide flexible configuration to any application that might be ported to the Kobo Mini. It supports customizable fonts, toolbox-pages, buttons (also graphical), labels, autostart and sleep timers.
Features
- flexible configuration
- launch types Toggle, Wait, Daemon, Never
- console view displays standard and error output of executed programs
- scripting output can go into label
- graphical buttons (svg, png, jpg)
- toggle buttons to support start/stop scripts from /etc/init.d/
- pre-defined set of scripts for integration with XCSoar
- 6 font sizes, up to 36 actions configurable
- timed autostart if there is no input after boot
- timed start after idle period (used for sleep/suspend)
- configuration self check
- small web browser integrated
- download Tasks, Maps and Waypoint files to proper locations
