KBear, a graphical ftp client for KDE News

We are very glad to announce the first pre-release of the upcoming KBear 2.0.
Note that this release is a development release, released mainly for bugtracking, not meant for daily use.
This new release has undergone a total reimplementation with lots of new
features and imrovements.
This release require KDE 3 and Qt 3 to compile and run.
News since last release:
->Multiple protocol support, ftp, sftp (secure ftp using ssh) etc.
->Now has it's own ftp-kioslave.
->Full logg for the ftp protocol.
->Improved connection management.
->Taking advantage of KDE:s component technology (KParts) for internal file
previewing.
->Improved Sitemanager plugin that even plugs into Konqueror.
->Tools plugin.
->Import filter plugins for bookmark files from various ftp clients.
->Open for second part plugins.
->Extended Mdi now with three different view modes.
->Firewall support for ftp (only partly implemented yet).
->Sitemanager database daemon.
->DCOP interface for both Sitemanager and KBear.
->More settings options both on application and site level.
