[IPCop-devel] Re: [IPCop-user] FTP-server on DMZ

There is this little matter of gettting the FTP-server to be 
accessible from the RED net when it's on the ORANGE. I wee that there 
is a section in the FAQ that is to be done and I'm starting to 
understand the need of that section :-(

So I now I'm resolving to asking you out there. Is there anybody that 
a) can tell me what has to be done or b) can point me to someplace 
where I can find that information.
What I've done so far is to forward tcp port 21 to the ORAGNE net 
(the ftp-server) ,I also have tried to forward tcp 20 and udp 
20,21 just for good sake but no difference. I can connect but the 
server can't build a return connection and passive doesn't work 
either.

Like, the FTP server (ftpd or inetd or whatever) *IS* running on the 
ORANGE box, right?...

It almost sounds like you forgot to verify that the FTP server is 
alive and well... Can the ORANGE box FTP to itself?
