In Outlook XP, the pop3 port number can only have 4
digits (wonder why...). Workaroud is to create the
correct config is outlook express and import it in outlook
XP.
But it would be more convenient to be able to configure
this without having to compile a new binary.
Thanks.

    Resolution to this problem:
Add your account in Outlook Express (with the port set to 45012), then import your Outlook Express account into Outlook (File -> Import/Export -> Import Internet Mail Account Settings -> Microsoft Outlook Express -> Next, Next, Next...). It automatically sets the port number to 45012 in MS Outlook. It works for me (MS Outlook XP, Outlook Express 6, Windows XP).

Another (better) way is to regedit:
    HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Outlook\OMI
    Account Manager\Accounts\00000001 (or 00000002, 00000003,
0000000x) and change the key "POP3 Port" to 45012.
