Hi All, good friday !! This weekend we will be online working in some small but important changes in Hathi. We will change current globalization mechanism for a more standard approach. The idea is use gettext# or Mono.Unix i18N http://mono-project.com/I18nGettext http://mono-project.com/I18N_with_Mono.Unix Behind this change is an effort to bring a better platform for translators, so we could include more localizations in an easier way, using tools that are used in other open source projects. As an extra, I found a tool called "Resource Translator For Localization" that uses a translation API based on google translate service We will try to add .isl, regular xml and .po support in order to get some automated translation. You are invited to participate. #hathi channel and msn messenger will be available all weekend, starting this afternoon in America. Then add the file to svn with tortoise. Finally, you need to commit using "SVN Commit" in your context menu. We spent our afternoon yesterday trying to configure the lugdunum eserver in linux. eserver didn't work in ubuntu server, but Pankaj put operational eserver in opensuse 11. I will post a how to install opensuse and configure eserver. A big THANKS to Pankaj. During the last friday and monday we got 2 meetings. We agreed to face the bug related to very old edonkey network information handled by hathi. AFAIK, We can split this issue in the following parts: * edonkey protocol version (i.e.: used by hello command) * client IDs enum * Hathi client ID (currently using lphant id) The first one is the toughest, because we need to validate if we need to implement/modify some methods of edonkey protocol when upgrade protocol version support information. I suggested search this info in more recently updated edonkey p2p clients, like amule or emule. People working in this issue: justin, pankaj, andrew, mini and me Please post any relevant info to fix this issue. I think the last issue is related to our client is identified as a very old client. Even I can connect some servers, when I connected, they sent a warning indicating "client version too, please upgrade" We need to solve this issue ASAP in order to execute more tests and make hathi available for end users..
