#45 Provenance problem: Missing storage of actual input in workflow instance
At present the input of a workflow is part of the definition of the workflow and stored associated to it.
However different workflow runs and therefore outcomes may belong to different actual inputs. In this case the user is compelled to overwrite the input in the workflow definition and such a way the input of the predecessor workflow instance(s) is(are) lost forever.
Associating the result of a (scientific) calculation to the actual input of the calculation is an absolute must.
