#1 Startup failure, ATE0 does not "bite"
Seems like sometimes I enter the 'a' menu (at commands) and the echo off has not been done, either the SIMx00 ignores the command or is re-reset at some stage, the only solution right now is to go into the 'a' menu and do an:
ate0;&w
OK
Which instructs the SIMx00 to always start up with no echo. This seems to work.
If your device has gotten the right mode, giving simple "AT" commands in at-mode shuld get you only "OK"'s as replies from the arduino serial terminal.
