by editing the network conf for pcmcia it\'ll look for tulip, but it\'s looking for pcmcia/tulip.o, not net/tulip.o
i can copy or symlink it and it\'ll successfully load but i still have the problem of no ether traffic. note, this ONLY works when i boot up with init=/bin/bash and run cardmgr. if i\'m in multi-user mode, the machine hangs upon insertion.
