.I have 2 different computers with Realtek 8139c adapters. The card seems to start very fast indeed, in 100mbit full mode, but then dies all the way down to 1.7kb/s. I have only noticed this happening with files larger than 20 megabytes.

This problem is fixed in the latest version of the driver. You
