I have two realtek eth cards, and one, (SMC1211) gave
me 3 gigs worth of kernel error messages over 3 days,
so i think this needs to be fixed.
As requested in the kernel doc, i could not find
anywhere the rtl8139-diag source code for you, but here
is lspci -vvv and some nice kernel error messages.

I included a short text file with all the applicable
info.

SourceForge web page.
