Hello!
I have here both a Radeon 7500 (with 64M of memory) and a Radeon 7200
(with 32M of memory). The Radeon 7500 was given to me, along with a
Rage 128 style card because the list member (member of the local LUG),
did not need them any longer. The Radeon 7200 I bought on clearance
from my local computer store.

I discovered that the 7500 did in fact present composite video out
when the cables (which came with the 7200) were connected to a regular
TV set. I have also discovered that the 7200 does the same. However
what needs to be done to enable X to present the same information to
that regular TV set? This is using version 6.9.0 of the release series
from Slackware 11.0. Documentation isn't exactly clear as to what
needs to be done here.

However examining the now adjusted configuration file tells me that
there are a host of Radeon related functions included in it.

There was talk that the features behind the code that was discussed
here was adopted by the people who produce the current form of the X
display methods.

I just don't know what to enable to provide for this function. I can
tell all of you that the system will present video before X starts to
the set. Advice please folks.
