#263 Flag created when declaring independence is not used
The game currently seems to mostly ignore the new flag of your nation once declared independence, so designing the flag seems pointless atm. It seems it is not used anywhere. In several places, you still see the heraldic symbol of your old nation, like in the colony dialog or the diplomacy advisor.
Suggestion: Once you declared independence, no longer use the heraldic symbol but instead the flag to represent your nation in all places of the game where it is shown.
