#10 Add time elapsed to status bar
I'd love to see a counter that keeps track of how long
it has taken to b uild the current (or most recent)
package.
For example, my status bar currently says, "Running
fink install kdebase3-ssl."
It could be changed to say, "Running fink install
kdebase3-ssl since 1301 4 aug 2002. Elapsed time=20
hours 14 minutes. Estimated time to completion=2 hour 5
minutes"
Or something like that.

Good suggestion. I had been planning to add a "Command Inspector"
with this information, among other things. But I'll see if I can fit the
elapsed time in the status bar.
I have no idea how to estimate the time to completion, however.

Even if you can't add time to completion, would it be possible to indicate how many Mb till completion? I think it's the: "How much is still to go?" that is more important than "How long has it been?".
Maybe something like "Installed 5.5Mb of 7.2" Along with elapsed time. Then the User can make a fair guess how long it might take :-)
