Commit [r8784]  Maximize  Restore  History

Tidy up TestRESTAPI:

- warning messages when input stream read directly as string, byte etc (instead IOUtils used to copy stream)
- warning message - when not authenticating, preemptive authentication was enabled, turn off if not authenticating
- remove System.out.println in validation tests
