#149 Running multiple Sound Cards Edit
I am attempting to run RH9 with three Sound Blaster PC
512 Sound cards. all three show up when I do a lsmod
and I have all of my /dev/dsp->/dev/dsp0 and so forth
and have my mixers set the same way. (/dev/mixer-
/dev/mixer0)
When I start feeding the sound cards data the system
locks up. I edited the modules.conf file to show each
sound card in the slots.
I don't have a lot of experience with making
modifications to the sound system so I may have
missed something.. Does anyone have any
suggestions as to what would be causing my system to
die?

I added a line to the driver/pci/quirks.c file and recompiled the
kernel. After I did this my sound cards were working fine.
