Wishlist: Ability to save and recall device configurations

I think a great addition to Cutecom would be the ability to save a device's configurations settings (eg., port, parity, speed, etc.) and recall the saved configurations. Such a feature would be very handy for quickly switching between commonly used devices.
Hmm, indeed.
Any idea how to make a good (and small) GUI for that feature ?
Two more buttons ? The dialog is basically full right now already.

Well, a few brainstorming thoughts for creating some free space on the GUI would be:
a) Combine the 'Open device' and 'Close device' buttons into one button or check box that changes state based on the open/close status of the device.
b) Change the wording of the 'Open for' option from 'Reading' and 'Writing' to 'Read' and 'Write'.
c) Remove the 'Quit' button and just have the user terminate the program through the window manager.
d) Replace the 'About' button with a small clickable Cutecom icon.
Two more buttons for this sounds about right.
