Once you select multiple lines within Eclipse, the
current line selected reverts to an off-white background
color.

Selecting characters on a single line does not cause
this error.

This error only corrupts the current file. Opening a new
file, or switching to another, will display the current line
with the correct color scheme. However, going back will
not fix the issue.

Selecting "Reload Highlighting syntax rules" will fix this
error.

There is a known conflict between colorer and internal editors
highlighting components, will try to resolve it.

The only workaround seems to be disabling line highlighting in regular "TextEditor" preferences.
Could be implemented programmatically, as a property override.
