When you double-click on a word in EclipseColorer, the
entire word should highlight. This is standard UI for
all editors.

for me it works as it should (ver 0.7.0 and 0.7.1)

Please try to check the issue on a clean eclipse installation
only with eclipse colorer plugin installed.

It seems to be a kind of conflict...
