xlw is a tool originally created by Jérôme Lecomte (xlw@ifrance.com).
The original version was available at http://www.ifrance.com/xlw/

Ferdinando Ametrano (nando@ametano.net) made minor modifications and
moved the project to SourceForge for further development: http://xlw.sf.net

Mark Joshi updated it various ways and added automatic interface generation.

Eric Ehlers added support for Excel 2007.

Narinder Claire added support for .NET & C# enabling the building
of xlls in C#. Also added Template projects for easy creating of new
projects by users. Created new installer for extraction of 
template projects

John Adcock added 64 bit support and Automatic Help Generation
