Hi! ...another question: How can take advantage of CDEF's functions for %SUBJECT%? Can I use a pre-defined CDEF fuction in Cacti? I saw in documentation rrd-tool and I can't comprehend it. Rrd-tool(CDEF) not supported function "SUM" - is it practicable another way? Please, Could you tell me, any examle? Thank you very much! -- Lubos Horna |

Hello, I am martijn, network engineer at a medium isp in the netherlands. Before i tried cacti as a monitoring tool i mostly used other frontends. I have a question about how to monitor mysql and apache statistics. Can somebody explain it to me at sesamestreet level? Or does somebody know where to find a manual other than the one on raxnet? Regards, Martijn |

Hi all, i am using Cacti 0.8.2, mysql-server 3.23.49, rrdtool 1.0.42, net-snmp 5.0.8, php4 4.1.2. I can't connect into Cacti. When i enter username and password from include/config.php, i see only "Invalid User Name/Password Please Retype:" and thats all. Username, password and privilegs are OK, because i can connect into mysql with this same parameters using PHPMyadmin. I realy don't now where can be bug. I think, this is my bug, but where? Sam, Make sure the 'include_path' in your php.ini does not contain the path to Cacti. This is different from the instructions for installing 0.6.x under win32. Hi, I'm currently trying to install Cacti on a W2K platform. Installation goes well but, at first use, after having set the different paths, I always have this message : "Fatal error: Cannot redeclare title_trim() (previously declared in C:\webroot\cacti\include\functions.php:27) in c:\webroot\cacti\include\functions.php on line 27". Do you know how I can fix this ? Thanks Sam ___________________________________________________________ Do You Yahoo!? -- Une adresse @yahoo.fr gratuite et en français ! Yahoo!
