#60 Build failure: brightonfree, Ubuntu 9.10, bristol 0.40.7
The compilation on 9.10 appears to fail under certain circumstances (which can be reproduced) do to some library calls not being templated in the header files. The first one found was for brightonfree() and a fix for that is attached to this report. It needs to be placed in bristol-0.40.7/include/brighton and it is noted that the file is for that specific release.
I would anticipate that other similar issues will be found further down the compile stream but will have to take care of those case by case using this same bug report.
Oops, the file you need, now attached, is actually
bristol-0.40.7/libbrightonX11/bWindow.c
It did not include the header file for brightonfree.
bWindow.c with header file included.
Issues is going into pending, should be resolved in the 0.40.8 and 0.50.1 uploads.
