Hi Robert,
I don't know whether or not this has already been reported in the past...
Anyway: there is a problem with freac in case the gui is minimized to the systemtray and you insert a cd for scaning and asking the cddb.
If you maximize the gui in the moment, the child windows with a result from cddb would come up, you cannot bring the focus to that childwindow. You can't do anything (at least I didn't find a way) to get freac working again but to kill the freac process.
Using: freac 1.0.26
System: Win7 Ultimate 64bit, SP1, all patches up to today installed.

I just tried to verify the issue - it appears reproduceable.
Just minimize freac to system tray and insert a cd for scanning - once that scanning and asking cddb is done and you maximize freac again you have it..
(Check you don't have the scanning result cached...;-) )

This should be fixed in fre:ac 1.0.27.
