BytesFall Explorer v0.0.9 was just released. In this version jsTree was replaced by LiveTree (AJAX based tree). This change improves a lot the performance when browsing a big filesystem. Some small bugfixes were also added.
BytesFall Explorer 0.0.8 was just released. In this new version was added the ability of compress a file/directory or a group of them using the TAR, ZIP, GZIP and BZIP formats (depending of the extensions installed in PHP). Several small bugs were also fixed in the installer and in the file manager itself.

BytesFall Explorer 0.0.7 was just released. In this new version was added an automatic installer, so the system can now be installed very easily in a few steps. It is also included an Estonian translation, provided by Hannes Vaher (hannes AT linksys DOT ee) and there were also some small bugfixes and a few cosmetic changes.

BytesFall Explorer v0.0.6 was just released. In this version the way of managing the filesystem was completely changed. Now is posible to flexibly map several directories in a way that mimics the functionality and power of the fstab file in UNIX systems. The new implementation also makes posible to assing a home directory to each user of the system.

BytesFall Explorer 0.0.5.1 was just released. This release contains bugfixes for the SQL scripts causing errors in old DB servers and the Tooltips not showing in Firefox. No new features were added.

BytesFall Explorer 0.0.5 is out. In this version the shell functionality was improved (now I use a modified version of Shell Commander), there is posible to edit HTML pages in a WYSIWYG mode (using FCKEditor) and the 'View' feature was considerably reworked (and improved, I hope :)). There is also a number of small bugfixes.
This is a release considerably more stable than previous versions. In this release is added the 'Shell' feature and now you can choose whether you want to run using frames or not. There were also fixed a number of small bugs, I recommend to upgrade from any previous version. If you find any bug please report it.

By mistake there were not instructions of how to login after installation. When you have finished the installation instructions you can login using the user 'admin' and the password 'adm0n' (it's a zero) for versions 0.0.1 and 0.0.2 and 'admin' for version 0.0.3. I apologize for the inconveniences.

In the version 0.0.3 of BytesFall Explorer the multilanguage feature is finished. If you do a translation of any other language (in the 'lang' directory) and want it to be published send it to us. In this version is also fixed a bug in the search feature and several small bugs. Enjoy it.
