This plugin simply doesn't work with KeePass 2.42. Please update it.

Thanks for your suggestion. I think it would be out of scope for this plugin, but might make sense as a separate plugin. If a plugin existed that for any entry, could open a customizable floating mini-window with drag and drop capability such as you describe, then I would certainly modify this plugin to be able to trigger that instead of the main window. Making a plugin custom window like that would be a fairly large job, though, and it's not something I have the time available for right now. Perhaps...

Hi Alex, thanks a lot for your plugin ShowEntry I'm using for years. Let me suggest you an enhancement : When I use ShowEntry, it's mainly because automatic fill-in is not really functional, or quite difficult to implement, and then, from window displayed by ShowEntry, I drag'n drop name and password on the login form. This works, but is not always easy, because Keepass window opened by ShowEntry is quite large, and is over the window with form to fill. Would it be possible, rather than to open the...

Since last rev of Keepass (2.41), <showentry> opens the Keepass window as before, but focus is no more on selected entry, making a little bit difficult to identify it in the list. Actually (and hopefully...) Keepass opens on the folder containing selected entry, but focus is now on the first entry in thois folder, and not on the right one.</showentry> I don't know at all what changed in Keepass, but please discuss with them in order to adapt your plugin to their new specs.

I downloaded the zip file from the keepass site directly , as I thought that was what you meant by 2.9. in your first post. I've tried the repo version too , though , and that works too. I'm not sure why it isn't for you , the error message is not very informative

I've just tried AutoTypeSearch 0.9.1 under KeePass 2.39.1 on Linux Mint, and that's working fine for me. Is that the version you are using?

No, 0.3.1 is fully released. Sourceforge doesn't seem to have automatically tagged it as the latest release, though, it still lists 0.3 as the latest. I'll investigate.

I'm sorry, I'm not sure what you mean by the icons getting mixed. The only change I made was to specify which database should be made active by KeePass, so it shouldn't be affecting any icons...

The required entry is not selected when multiple databases are open and the database containing this entry is not active. This occures both by using hot-keys or by using {SHOWENTRY} placeholder. So the proposition is to activate the required database tab.
