Hello,
I've just downloaded the LF Aligner and tested it with one pair of documents. It worked really well; thanks so much!
I am looking for help with creating a database of multiple aligned docs. How exactly do I accomplish this?
Thanks,
Sue Crocker

Well that would depend on what kind of "database" you want to create. As a general rule, align each document pair and generate a TMX. Create an empty "database" and import the TMX files one by one.

Thanks so much for your help. I would like to create something that can be searched without the use of Trados or other translation tools. Would it be possible to create, for example, a giant Excel file containing a set of aligned documents?
Thanks again,
Sue

There is nothing to stop you from copy-pasting stuff into Excel. LF Aligner always creates a tab delimited file that can be pasted into an excel sheet.
Excel works somewhat acceptably up to a certain size, but for tens of thousands of segments, it is impractical. Have a look at TMLookup and apsic Xbench.
