see COPYING for the license (LGPL) type 'make' to build cppdom shared and static libs. type 'make install prefix=/usr' to install on the system type 'make install prefix=$HOME/software' to install in your account the make system suports the following platforms: - linux (gcc 2.96 and 3.0x, gnu make) - irix (CC mips pro, gnu make) - Win32 (cl visual studio 6/7, gnu make, cygwin bash or tcsh) - solaris (should work, not tested) - freebsd (should work, not tested)
