I'm another person who would really like either floating or on-the-side toolbars -- when I use my tablet in Portrait mode, I often want to get the max out of its height. Thanks so much for this great app!

Yes, please. The stylus (on wacom devices at least) is almost useless for writing at the screen-edges, but for buttons I think it's accurate enough. You typically have lots of vertical "fill" at the top/button of the screen already.
