While principally useful, program options are currently still a bit cumbersome to use. Also, Wavepacket itself could employ some program options.

Two things one could do:

  • Add some wavepacket-internal default options. For example, "-o <directory>" could give the output directory where all wavepacket files (plots etc.) are written to (creating the directory if it does not exist)</directory>
  • Have default options that can be simply passed to the program and would be interpreted by the user (say "-1 <opt>" to "-9 <opt>")</opt></opt>

In any case, program options should be as simple as possible to be most useful.
