A volunteer can still be assigned to a project, even if their ending availability date is before the starting date of the project.
User Aladdin Work Begin: 2008-04-17
Work End: 2008-04-19
Assigned to project "cleanup" Start Date: 2008-04-30
End Date: 2008-05-06
Success. This should not be possible. A warning message could pop up?

Analysis from Giovanni. Same as bug 1943587. These bugs are both the same, and have to do with the fact that you can assign a volunteer to a project whose availability does not coincide with the project start and end date. Is this really a bug, though? Since volunteers and project managers will talk before assignment occurs, I think it would be a little restrictive to add that constraint. Even if a volunteer can't stay for the whole project, he could do what he could. I think that a bug fix for this, though, as one student mentioned, is to provide a warning to the project manager that the availability doesn't coincide with the project dates.
