[Vis5d-users] reg cave5d, stereo on vis5d+

hi,
I thank for the reply on getting stereo (passive ) on
the immersadesk.  
Iam a student at EVL in UIC . I am working on the
vis5d+ 
As per the suggestion,
I tried out the Cave 5d , downloaded the exe and
source file( the irix versions) and when it runs

 it reads cave configuration files.
and prints 

.cache size: 190 grids and 
Box size 
 X: value, value 
 y: value, value 
 Z: value, value 

and then comes out without any errors being reported.
Iam not sure what is the reason?  I tried the
lamps.cave5d. I also changed the path names of the
files.

Please help me out.

Also i understand that in order to make vis5d+ (stereo
compatible , into passive steroe ) i need to make
changes in the window vieports (make 2 view ports one
each for left and right ) and  also switch camera
positions back and forth for the left and right eye. I
was not exactly sure where I need    to make the
changes. Any help in this direction will be very much
helpful.
