I am not familiar with grib5d. It sounds like either:
1. A version of Vis5D designed for GRIB files, or
2. A program for converting GRIB files to .v5d files.
In either case, please try to locate the author of
grib5d who should be able to answer your question.
There are also row limits in Vis5D, which can be
changed in its src/v5d.h file and recompiling.
