Hi all I have two (hopefully) simple questions: 1) I am displaying the results from my NWP model with Vis5D. In order to get a clear and easy to understand figure, I would like to change the color scheme of the underlying topography. At the moment, I always get a green to redish colored topography. However, I would prefer to have the topography in a grayscale color palette. 2) The fields from my NWP are up to 9 km high. Some of the features I am interested in are however only visible in the lowest 2 km of the atmosphere. How can I cut off let's say the uppermost 7 km and use only the lowest 2 km. If I "stretch" the z-coordinate, still the whole range from 0 to 9 km is displayed. Is there any other possibility to get a better focus on shallow atmospheric processes. Thanks for any help, Nicolas -- _____________________________________________________________ Nicolas Schneider, PhD Student University of Bern Institute of Geography Climatology & Meteorology Hallerstrasse 12 CH-3012 Bern phone +41-31-631-8542 fax +41-31-631-8511 email sc...@gi... |
