	some advices from experience:

try to raise the map (with the slider that appears when you click on the MAP
button) over you horizontal data slice, the map should appear.

click in the little window with the filled slice colormap (it usually pops up in
the lower left bottom of the screen) and play with arrow keys -left and right
shift the color function while up und down keys make it more or less peaked-
until the color distribution matches the distribution of your physical variable.
