Hi Gustavo, I suspect that your vis5d on the SGI is compiled to use OpenGL, and is talking to an HP with PEX. Try recompiling vis5d with 'make irix6-x'. It'll be a lot slower this way, but the root of your problem may be incompatible 3-D graphics libraries.
