Dear Vis5D users, Hi! I tried to use Vis5D with "TCL" in my Linux PC. It appears that the key is to get TCL 7.4 library for Linux. I downloaded the source code for TCL 7.4 and somehow couldn't compile it on my Linux PC. Is there anybody who has any helpful ideas or who has Linux-compiled TCL 7.4 library? For information, linking Vis5D with TCL 8.3 (as I successfully compiled TCL 8.3 on my RedHat Linux PC) produces Vis5D executable, which does not support TCL script normally. Also, I downloaded the pre-compiled Linux version Vis5D, which showed the same problem. On the other hand, compiling Vis5D without TCL does not do at all anything related to TCL. -- Chul Eddy Chung: http://www-c4.ucsd.edu/personnel/cchung Postdoc with Ramanathan, Center for Atmospheric Sciences Scripps Institution of Oceanography, UCSD Tel) 858-822-1356 Fax) 858-534-7452 |
