A Computer Virus as ship-addon would be nice (like in
privateer 2):
Its a device that sends some code to the targeted ship
so that its computer crashes and the ship is helpless
for a short time.
Maybe a countermeasure for that would be nice too
(Norton Antivirus running on a space-ship *gg*)

Think an emp pulse weapon would be a more fair, and visual
impressive way to disable a ship

i like the virus idea, the ability to leave it helpless and the
coutermeasure thing is also really cool, or as a reachaction
to getting attacked by a virus you can automatically send
one to them as well.

I think its a good idea. It should surely not have the same effect that
emp or leech attacks have. But it perhaps could disable autotracking
systems or make the attacking ship get friendly coloring on radar. If u
could buy different viruses for different purposes it would be great.
