I'm unable to complete cargo missions where the destination is a ship. The "Visit Shipname" objective completes, but the mission stay in my mission log, the cargo stays in my hold, and my account is not credited.
I believe this is related to 2082903. When that bug strikes, although one is taken to the planet surface and the mission is not finalized, some part of Vegastrike believes that the docking with the delivery target ship has been successful, and marks the "visit <shipname>" element of the mission as 100% complete. Very annoying, and means that taking cargo missions is a lottery; sometimes the target is a fixed station, which is OK, but ships always want to be in orbit to receive cargo, and 2082903 strikes almost invariably. One cannot predict from a cargo mission statement whether the recipient is a ship or a station.

I haven't had time to play for a few months, and my memory is a bit foggy, but...
I think this is a separate bug, because I remember it happening even when the ship was not near a planet. I also recall other missions of the same type not requiring docking to complete properly. In those cases I recall the mission completing and cargo being transfered when I came within scan range (perhaps that's the bug?)
As I said, I may not be remembering this properly.
