Hi,
I maintain the vegastrike packages for Arch Linux. Both, stable and svn version. For the svn version I had to make a small patch (http://aur.archlinux.org/packages/vegastrike-svn/vegastrike-svn/gcc43.diff) ,to successfully finish compiling with gcc4.3.0. The stable branch doesn't need this.
