While using Spec Drive and TimeInc together, I find that if I am "Specing" towards a planet the graphics start acting funny when I go greater than x5 TimeInc (ie. pressing TimeInc more than 5 or 6 times. The planet would either warp out of view or become really small. It's very weird and hard to explain hopefully you can reproduce this and see for yourselves.

I also think that TimeInc should automatically revert to normal at the same time the Spec drive does, and also it should decrease time speed proportionately as Spec speed increases because often I would have a 5x or 6x TimeInc + Spec enabled and I just zoom WAY past my target because the TimeInc makes it toooo fast for me to do anything.

Time compression is not to be used for normal gameplay. It is a debugging tool only. The keybindings will be reclaimed in the release.

In my humble opinion I think you should keep the time compression feature for the release. Without it, I find that it takes FOREVER to get into "Spec-able" range away from planets or other objects, especially when ship speed appears to be only 120-125, Even the Spec drive itself is relatively slow, especially when flying from one end of a system to another. It also takes forever to dock to a planet without it too.

We can't happily leave TC around because assorted behaviors become tangibly broken when it is used :-/

As for things taking too long, travel times were tested on Normal/medium gameplay settings, where the Llama has a speed governor of 240-250 m/s instead of 120-125 m/s. I think this is worth resubmitting as a data oddity that the easy/easier difficulty levels have ships that are too slow to be pleasant to fly (although it does make it a lot easier to shoot your opponents :-P )
