When re-encoding video on a laptop with an integrated AMD GPU and a discrete Geforce GPU, Task Manager claims that the AMD GPU is the one being worked. Even when I configure Windows 10's graphics settings to run VirtualDub2 in high performance mode, and even when I go into the Nvidia Control Panel and configure the VirtualDub2 executable to run with the Nvidia processor explicitly, Task Manager still reflects that the AMD is being used while re-encoding in VirtualDub2. Is Task Manager misleading me? Is this something I have any control over? Does VirtualDub2 have any way to influence which GPU is used or a way to log why one is chosen over the other?
