When loading an AVI to render, frequently the first 3 frames (0-3) are solid green. If I seek to frame 4, the picture appears. Then I can seek back to frame 0 and continue as normal. If I render without doing this, the solid green frames will get rendered.
Loading a settings file frequently causes a "corrupt" pattern to appear with several grayscale copies of the frame on the bottom and a black top, or a green striped grayscale screen. As before, seeking forward and back once or twice clears it. Again, you can proceed normally.
Maybe a different issue, but if I render while the progress bar (play progress - frame position) is in the middle somewhere, I just rendered a video this way and the first frame(s) are from where the indicator was sitting. Frames from the middle of the video were copied to the beginning. Seemingly the workaround is to "not do that" and put the progress slider back to the beginning if I don't want random frames inserted at the front of the video.

Your source video use codec video xvid? That's a very long time this "bug", but if your read the sourve video & don't have green frame, try with VirtualDubMod & try to load video by using directshow with AviSynth 2.5 & install K-Lite Mega Codec Pack (but don't use any LAV because is not compatible with directshow). Maybe there's some other way but I already did that before when I use XP...
Nope, no xvid. I tried the codec pack but it just happens with multiple codecs. H264.
