Ability to open online videos directly in VD2 using YouTube-dl library.
An enhanced version of the original VirtualDub

Hello!
The goal is to have the ability to paste the link into VirtualDub2 and have the choice which stream to take for example in the dropdown menus:
Audio > Source Audio > Detected DASH audio and non-DASH audio+video streams.
Video > Source Video > Detected DASH video streams.
This can be useful for Video descrambling by applying Decoder-filters:
- Scrambled: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JbSu1E1olt4
- Descrambled: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cMd3CyFBfzM
This is picture & audio scrambling in the "analog way" - how the pay-TV transmission systems worked.

This is above my head. If you can implement at least draft input driver based on youtube-dl, I can help with minor issues. I am not sure if it will fit at all, VD is designed to work with static files with all frames known.
Hi there!
The ability to open online videos directly in VirtualDub2 using the YouTube-dl library is a fantastic feature. It allows users to paste video links and choose from various streams for both audio and video, making it a versatile tool for video processing. This functionality can be particularly useful for video descrambling, enabling users to apply decoder filters and enjoy content without the hassle of ads, much like the convenience of using Pikashow for ad-free streaming.
