The reason I'm not building a binary is to avoid any unexpected distribution license issues. I may take another stab at a PR for VSock into upstream with just the minimal changes without the build environment changes. The upstream repo did try to take my changes, but the changes to support a Docker build environment was a massive change and it broke too many things for many people. At least I've found I can keep pulling DLLs and using them with the old EXE I built and everything has been working...

the thin grey strip you’re seeing might be related to display scaling or border rendering in your current setup. Sometimes adjusting the window size or checking the theme settings can help resolve these visual glitches. On a different note, if you enjoy smooth and seamless experiences in online platforms and games, you might want to check out pkr888 game — it’s designed to be reliable, secure, and engaging, offering a variety of fun games without interruptions.

Using a Docker-based build environment can really streamline development and testing, especially for complex setups. It keeps dependencies isolated and reduces “it works on my machine” issues. For anyone interested in combining productivity with some entertainment during breaks, you can also check out lucky pkr 101 for a fun and engaging experience—it’s a safe platform to explore!

Connection issues between WSL-2 and VcXsrv often come down to display settings or firewall permissions. Double-checking the DISPLAY variable and allowing VcXsrv through the firewall usually fixes it. It’s like preparing for a big event such as Morgan Wallen Minneapolis — getting the setup right makes the whole experience smooth and enjoyable.

Yes, you can restrict it by setting the -listen tcp option to localhost only. I tried a similar tweak while configuring H555 Game, and limiting connections to the loopback interface really improved both security and performance.

That’s a really detailed explanation about VcXsrv — super helpful for anyone setting up GUI apps from Unix on Windows. I’ve been using a Calculator Tool alongside it to manage resource usage, and it actually makes the process way smoother!

Interesting case feels like a signal-handling issue rather than SSH itself. Like a barber expert, sometimes you need a precise trim (custom keybinding or trap) to stop Ctrl+C from cutting the whole session.

I can launch VcXsrv manually, SSH to my remote host and start client sessions but I would like to automate it with an xlaunch file. Thank you!

When the issue occur, the unchecking of the 'Clipboard may use PRIMARY selection' stop repeated keystrokes. Hence it seems it is actually a clipboard issue. Attached the log for this issue (not sure this is the good log file ... display is not the correct one)
