Hi all, Got torcs to work in windows. I'm following berniw's robot tutorial, but I'm not sure I understand this part: angle = RtTrackSideTgAngleL(&(car->_trkPos)) - car->_yaw; NORM_PI_PI(angle); // put the angle back in the range from -PI to PI angle -= SC*car->_trkPos.toMiddle/car->_trkPos.seg->width; I get that the angle is the turning angle because it's (the tangent of the track) - (the angle of the car). But why are you taking away the distance to the middle/the width of the track? What value does this give you? Thanks. qin__23 _________________________________________________________________ Game on: Challenge friends to great games on Messenger http://go.microsoft.com/?linkid=9734387 |

Hi, OK, this is an old message but I am very interested in an urban version of TORCS. Does anyone know anything more about it? Does anyone have contact info for Miguel? Sorry, the link in the last mail doesnt work. here is the right one!! Hi, I study Sound Studies - Acoustic Communication at the University of the Arts in Berlin / Germany. I deal scientifically with the future of engine noise for electric cars. I have one small survey min (second) prepared. Here is the link... http://research.hghoyer.de/index.php?sid=33173&lang=en Thank you for your support in my work. If interested I will send to the results. Best regards, H.-G. Hoyer |

I'm a bit confused :| Is there anything else I should know about (for example) head1, head2 and power? When does Torcs display head lights? When does Torcs read "power" parameter of a car? I created a car (Lancia Beta Montecarlo) and I would like to set its engine power but I'm failing... (I'm sorry if mine are stupid questions but I'm a new to Torcs car creation) Regards, Fabio -- Always code as if the person who will maintain your code is a maniac serial killer that knows where you live |

Hello folks, I'm searching for a detailed list of all the parameters that can be used in the cars' xml files. I sought a thousand times on Torcs site and on search engines but without success. Can you point me the right direction? Thanks, Fabio -- Always code as if the person who will maintain your code is a maniac serial killer that knows where you live |
