I do the following steps:
1- unzip all the *src*zip files
2- run the setup-win32.bat
3- open TORCS.dsw with VC6.0
4- in the menu Build->Set Active Configuration... select TORCS Win32
Release
5- Build (F7)
6- unzip the *data*zip files in the runtime directory
That should do it... if not tell me the steps that went wrong.

Hi, The robots interface has changed a little. The car settings are given now to the newTrack callback. http://cvs.sourceforge.net/cgi-bin/viewcvs.cgi/torcs/torcs/torcs/src/interfaces/robot.h.diff?r1=1.3&r2=1.4 I updated all the robots in the CVS for that. Latest modifications: --------------------- The pitting detection code was debugged a little, some problems could occur when the pits were across the start lane. The pit lane now has a speed limit (tTrack->pits->speedLimit) There is not yet speed control but the robots should respect the limit. Camber has been added to the wheels. Bye, Eric. -- =+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+= TORCS The Open Racing Car Simulator http://torcs.org =+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+= |

Could you explain what you had to do ? I'm far from a windows
specialist,
so if someone could help...
May be there's something wrong with the windows archives ?

Did you try the binary version, just to check if the problem is from the
compilation
or from a problem between the game and your system ?
