A tool for changing the date and time stamp of photos
Based on an article by Michael Haephrati in Code Project. https://www.codeproject.com/Articles/792931/Date-time-batch-changer-for-photos-and-other-files Michael Haephrati looked for photos and videos of an important event and couldn't understand why he can't find any video files, even though he recalled that his wife and his daughter took both photos and videos... He then realized that his still camera (Nikon D5000) and camcorder (Sony) are both set up with the wrong date and time, each with a different wrong time... One was 7 hours and 36 minutes earlier and the other was 3 hours later. That was the reason for the confusion, and he spent a lot of time checking backups, etc. thinking his precious files were somehow deleted. He calculated the correct times of both video and photo files, adjusting their time stamp and happily found out that both occurred within the same time frame, so everything was OK. ... -

Canon doesn’t have shutter count included on the EXIF information of an image file, as opposed to Nikon and Pentax. There’s no official Canon based application to find the shutter count for an EOS DSLR. However, there are a few free tools that may help you to do this. They provide some details about the camera, including product Name, firmware version, battery level, shutter Counter, date/time, and owner/artist/copyright strings. -

A while after I collected a lot of images which could not be systematized in any good way and were stored in a single directory, I encountered with a problem of repeating of file names of the images. For the purpose this program was created. It can rename photos according to their shooting time. The program is able to process Nikon image settings files stored in NKSC_PARAM folder. Just point to path(s) to the photos and a directory depth to search if needed. You may also override template to rename photos. -
